Mastery trumps memorization

A presentation needs 3 versions
I’m often asked about memorizing
And I have the exact same response every time:
“Mastery trumps memorization”
Which then begets a follow up question:
“How do I become the master of my presentation?”
And the answer to that:
“Learn multiple iterations”
If you can do your 10-minute presentation in 3 minutes
as well as being able to do it in 60 seconds,
You don’t need to memorize it
because you’ve mastered it.
Now there’s time to as my friend @nausheen says:
“dance with your audience”
And when you can do that
Magic happens.
