And then she said:
“Let me tell you why this story is important”
So I stopped the rehearsal 👇
Before you go any further, “let me tell you why I think the story is important” and then I shared what I thought, and she liked what I said.
And then I said, “let me tell you another reason I think the story is important” and then shared that thought, and she liked what I said again.
And then I said, “let me tell you another reason I think the story is important” and then shared that thought, and she liked what I said this third time.
And then…well she understood at that point.
So she decided to let the audience decide,
she decided to give up a bit of control
she decided she would just
“trust the story”
And the next week she gave her presentation
and it was
AWESOME
